Pete and Norell had a great blend of modern, classic, Old Naples and romance through all the different parts of their wedding day. We started the day at the Naples Beach Club….getting ready there early in the day, doing a first look and getting those classic beach formals. Norell and Pete also had their rehearsal dinner at the Beach Club the night before. You can’t get any more historical here in Naples than the Naples Beach Hotel. Both Rene and I can remember the Beach Club since we were little kids…..and it’s been a favorite spot of ours for years….and one of the spots we always bring our out-of-town guests to for sunset watching!

Pete and Norell’s Greek wedding ceremony, held at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, was steeped in tradition and full of family, great friends and lots and lots of love! This was our first Greek wedding and it was beautiful. The love in that church was undeniable….

And the day’s festivities ended at Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club. Miromar is a hidden gem here in Southwest Florida! If you want modern, different and a sunset to boot, definitely check out Miromar. I love, love, love the interior design. And the outside is a throwback to a bit of old Spanish monastery. Romantic, classic and modern all rolled up into one!

A few weeks before Liz’s wedding day, I stopped in to talk to her. We got on the subject of love and I told her that it seemed to me that she and Sean would end up just like Rene and I: dieing together. I know! I know! It sounds melodramatic and a bit morbid too, but it’s true! You can just tell and with Liz and Sean, every picture we took of them together always revealed that sparkle of pure love between them. I love when I can take pictures like that…..it’s pure magic.

Liz and Sean exchanged vows at the beautiful Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club. What a great place to shoot! At every corner we found great spots and the decor is fabulous! Lesley and the staff at Miromar did an absolutely outstanding job making sure everything flowed smoothly and everyone was happy. And we couldn’t have been happier shooting at such a refreshingly unique spot!

Not only did Liz and Sean perform THE most original first-dance skit we’ve ever witnessed, but their kids absolutely know how to dance and make people laugh! In the second picture, they are getting down to Thriller, only one of the many songs they included in their surprise firs-dance skit!!

Aside from the awesomeness of shooting at such a wonderfully designed country club, it was just so easy to take fantastic pictures of Sean and Liz because they are just so much in love. When two people are so in love, it shows in the images you capture and well, it’s just easy to make great pictures! I stopped by last week to talk to Liz before the wedding and we both started tearing up…I told her that there was nothing better than finding that one person that you knew you were going to die with. I know, it sounds cheezy but she totally understood me.
