When our friend and owner of Fantasy Brewmasters, Chris Guerra, asked us to create his portrait for an upcoming article, we said sure!

We are never ones to turn down a good challenge. And in this case, Chris had a specific look and feel he was after. Together with the art of Yukimi Mills and Mike Landry, we created a pretty cool portrait of Chris at his bar.

You can see Yukimi’s dragon piece to the far left and Mike’s custom-made wallpaper for Chris’s website to the far right. With a little Photoshop magic thrown in by us, and voila! You can check out the article, written by Jeff Berkwits, in the April 2010 issue of Sci Fi Magazine, which is on shelves now. Thanks Chris for giving us another opportunity to flex our creative muscle!

We love supporting local talent here in Naples, be that local artists or artisans or musicians. Some of our favorite bands come from here and around the state and we hope to continue working with some of them. We had a portrait shoot with guitarist Freddy Maysonet.

Yes, this is Naples! It’s not all sunsets and beautiful palm trees. On a beautiful and early morning, we went exploring and found just the perfect spot for some gritty portraits of the musician.

Freddy’s hands are magical when he wraps them around a guitar. Listening to him in person is really the only way to hear this man play….Take a listen where you are at though as you look at his portraits.
