4th of July…
We had a fabulous 4th of July this year! We had a great family get-together and we were just a stone’s throw from the Naples Pier. We always have a grill out, swim in the pool and walk to the beach for the fireworks. It’s great because the house sits literally a block from the beach and we don’t have to worry about all the traffic…we love living in Naples!
Rene shot some awesome images of the fireworks. The thing is, he hand held the camera for these over 1 second-long exposures! Wow…I’m impressed! He also took liberty on the third image in the series and played around with camera motion during the exposure. That swirl in the top left-hand corner is the moon. It was a fantastical crescent the night of the 4th.
On our way out late into the evening, Rene hung out the window and caught a super-cool shot of a Banyan lit up like ferris wheel/night club!
Yeah! I would say that this was definitely a perfect weekend for us. We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July as well.
